Luke is one of the sweetest lovable dogs that you will ever meet! The pictures describe this handsome boy in a nut shell! Luke is vert affectionate and loves to be with his owners. He was rescued from the Bastrop County Animal Shelter and is now in search of a home to call his own.
Luke is currently in foster care and up for adoption through Hope Lane Foster and Rescue. He is thriving in a loving home environment and does very well with his other canine foster buddies. Last week our volunteers went to the River and the dog park with him and he played with a 150 pound mastiff. They also took him to Tractor Supply to meet new people and discovered that he is perfect in the car. He sticks right by you like glue and he is quite comical. The folks at the dog park truly loved him.
We are not sure of his exact breed, but we say that he is a pointer mix because he came in with his brother that looked exactly like him, but had the red points and ticking just like Luke.
LUKE is:
- 11-12 months old
- Male
- Neutered
- 65lbs-70lbs
- Up to Date on Vaccinations
- Heart Worm Negative & On Preventative
- On Flea and Tick Preventative
- Friendly to everyone, can be a little shy at first, but warms up quick.
- Very Smart (Knows Sit)
- Great in the car
- Crate trained
Adopter's Must:
- Keep Him Predominately an Inside Dog.
- Have a Fenced in yard
- Able to Provide Ongoing Care (Medical Needs, Core Vaccinations, Heartworm Prevention, Flea Prevention)
Luke is currently up for adoption through Hope Lane Foster & Rescue. His adoption fee is $75 and he is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and ready to go to his "fur"ever home.
